Dinner at the usual Pho Real, then Mesa later at night was pretty awesome. Had loads of fun with Liz, Pk, Alvin and all. Great company, lovely ambience, incredible crowd and music. Loved the place, definitely a must to revisit :D

I'm at work alone today, and the long metro ride down from home was a bitch. I was standing/walking to change lines for an entire hour and a half! Horrid crowd. I completely forgot it was a Saturday and that the theme park was next to Sheshan! I'll have to leave the club at 3pm to pick mum up from the airport. Time really flies in Shanghai, and I haven't really been around the city much, it is utterly ridiculous.

Before I close this post, I'd like to pose a question;
Can you tell distinctively, a Chinese person from the Mainland and a Singaporean?

You should take a trip down to China and experience life with the Mainland Chinese before answering. I'd say it is possible, but difficult. Well, unless he/she has super high slit eyes! Our ancestors were after all, from China. And with all that effort to differentiate ourselves from the Mainland Chinese, when it boils down to our roots, we're back to where we started.

How curious isn't it? Why we refuse to be associated with the Chinese from China.

have you ever?

Being selfless brings you a long way. Did you know that?

I spent the entire of my early night yesterday, sourcing for air tickets to Korea, Japan and back home. Shanghai has its perks, definitely not the sleepless nights with the mosquitoes, but I do miss my friends, family and the things I do every single week. Even if they were mundane, day-to-day routines; going to school, having school trainings at night, bowling leagues, training on Sundays. Gosh, I miss them all ):

Cooked myself some sick people food. Heading off to work in an hour.
And Shanghai's weather is so odd, sweltering heat just yesterday, but its cool and rainy today. Oh darn, going to work will be a bitch.

No sleep tonight

Didn't sleep a wink last night. Was in a battle with two mosquitoes, thousands of bites and a bad coughing fit.

And I'm right back at work today, 7am.

Had a good starbucks mrng, and I'm blogging from my mobile, on the way to work.

Polling's today. In all honest opinion, I'm not at all worried because the whites will win anyway. And they should, but the winning margin will probably be smaller than the past years'. You'd be ignorant if you think the elections are in complete transparency, or harbor any sort of hope that we'll have the opposition take over (two-party). We need change. But not now, gradually maybe.

I feel like having pho today, but i was alrdy planning to cook dinner! Besides, fatigue is really kicking in, and all I want is some good sleep.

It's gg to be a lonely Saturday night, but for today, I don't really care.

It's the Labour Day holidays in China too. I say 'too' because a friend said this, when I told him I'm having Labour day holidays;
'China has Labour Day too? But they're communist.'
Whatt? FYI, China has more public holidays than in Singapore (start counting all your Chinese festivals and add two extra days of holiday to them).

My day barely started, but it's going to be an awesome Sunday.
Hamilton's staring in Cars 2, I have to check that out. & my CMCC data/call plan starts today! Finally I'll have data on-the-go in China.
How about your Sunday? Have a splendid one, because Labour Day is only once every year (:

And I found out something interesting, I don't know if you already knew;
Kerb is British, and Curb is American. So are you British or American?

Check David Armand out in Fast and Loose (UK). He's awfully funny!
